Dental Veneer Procedure
The process of applying dental veneers can take a few trips to our office. We will have to complete a consultation as well as having the veneers made and then applied. We begin with the diagnosis and treatment planning stage. We will examine your teeth and discuss whether or not veneers will work and how the procedure will be completed. X-rays may be taken or impressions for the veneers.
When it is time for the application phase, the teeth will have to be prepared. A small portion of the enamel will need to be removed from the surface so that the veneer can be bonded to the tooth.
Once the veneers have been created and the teeth prepped, the veneer will be bonded to the tooth. The veneer will be placed in the right spot, with the dentist ensuring a perfect fit. Any trimming will be done at this time to ensure the veneers look as normal as possible.
Cement is applied to the veneer which is then placed on your tooth. In no time, you will have a beautiful smile that you are proud of, free of any imperfections.
